1. How do I book a tattoo appointment?
Start by filling out the consultation form on my website. From there, I’ll review your idea, reach out to discuss details, and schedule a consultation. Once we finalize your design direction, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment.
2. How much does a tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on size, placement, style, and complexity. Smaller tattoos usually have a set minimum rate, while larger pieces are priced by the session or total project. During your consultation, I’ll provide a personalized estimate so you know what to expect.
3. Do I need to bring my own design?
Not at all! Reference images, sketches, or inspiration boards are welcome and helpful, but they’re not required. My role as an artist is to collaborate with you and create a design that’s custom, unique, and fits your vision.
4. Does getting a tattoo hurt?
Yes, tattoos involve some level of discomfort, but everyone experiences pain differently. Placement plays a significant role—areas with thinner skin or closer to the bone tend to feel more sensitive. Most clients describe it as tolerable, and breaks can be taken if needed.
5. How long will my tattoo take?
This depends on size, placement, and detail. A small, simple tattoo might take under an hour, while larger or more detailed pieces can take several hours or multiple sessions. I’ll provide an estimated time frame during your consultation.
6. What should I do before my appointment?
- Get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy meal before your session.
- Stay hydrated.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before.
- Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area.
7. How do I take care of my tattoo afterward?
I’ll provide you with detailed aftercare instructions at the end of your session. In general, you’ll need to keep the tattoo clean, avoid soaking it in water (pools, baths, hot tubs), stay out of direct sun, and apply ointment as recommended. Proper aftercare ensures your tattoo heals beautifully.
8. What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Life happens! If you need to reschedule, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. Cancellations or last-minute changes may result in the forfeiture of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to book again.
